The Federal Communications Commission will vote on December 14th on a proposed repeal of Net Neutrality rules. Many consumers fear decreased regulation on Intenet Service Providers will drastically increase costs and reduce access for the average consumer. On Thursday, December 7th, exactly one week before the FCC vote, hundreds of protests against the repeal of Net Neutrality took place across the country in front of Verizon stores. Protesters chose the location because Ajit Pai, the current chair of the FCC, is a former Verizon lawyer and they claim he has a conflict of interest. One such protest was held in Huntington Station, New York.
